A podcast about all the things we don’t know how to talk about

…and the questions we’re too afraid to ask.

Together, we’re asking the questions we all want to ask—the ones we can, the ones we get canceled for, and the ones we just can’t figure out how to voice.

The topics you feel nervous to approach with new friends, the conversations you hope don’t happen at your holiday gathering, the questions you hope no one sees you typing into Google—we’re asking the uncomfortable questions, and we’re bringing on experts and individuals living these experiences to share their stories.

Our hope is that when you listen, you feel a little more curious, a little more open, and a little more connected to your fellow humans. We hope that in listening, you feel encouraged to have the hard conversations, trusting that you don’t have to wait until you have just the right words.

This is I’m Probably Not Saying This Right.

THE VOICES BEHIND THE POD

Amanda | HOST

She/Her

Amanda is packaged fun size, but she’s got that B.P.EShe’s the model of a nice midwestern mom; and she’s unabashedly redefining the role through her serial entrepreneurship. Does the placard on her desk read “Amanda Bauer-Frisch”? No, it reads “Boss Ass Bitch”. She’s unafraid to ask the hard questions, and she’s the most receptive learner we’ve ever met—not to mention a delightfully vivacious conversationalist.

CHANDLER | HOST

He/Him

Chandler might look like the intimidating founder of a consulting agency (and he is), but don’t let that fool you—set him up with a pile of Super Sour Scandinavian Swimmers and some comfort TV, and he’ll be the chillest wise-cracking softy you’ll ever meet. A love for the desert and all things water keeps Chandler in a state of constant movement. That currently manifests as living in a custom built DIY Sprinter Van parked in…and in this case, ensuring that our conversations keep moving forward.

FINN | Executive Producer

They/Them

Finn is seeking ways to monetize snuggling their dog so that it can be their full time gig (because the current 30 hours/week isn’t cutting it). In the meantime, they’re bringing their HSP nature to the production of this podcast to help cultivate empathy in these hard conversations. They’re hopeful that observing behind the scenes will help them blossom from a wallflower into someone who actually knows how to talk to people at parties.

JULES | Executive Producer

They/Them

Not only is Jules a musician extraordinaire and our resident audio expert, but they also play a wicked mouth trumpet. Curious? We know. They bring a hefty dose of playful cynicism and childlike curiosity to each recording session, and whether through a joke or their genuine albeit divided attention, they brighten the energy in any space they enter.

Not only is Jules a musician extraordinaire and our resident audio expert, but they will smash you at Mario Bros. any day of the week—as long as they can bring their dog.
